(本网2023年7月30日加德满都报道)这是Runan来到尼泊尔的第二天,经过昨天一天时间,全校师生无不认识这个新来的、身材壮壮的中国小外教,无论他走到校园的哪个角落,师生们就像遇到明星一样高兴得和他打招呼,用典型的、“蹩脚“的中文和他问候”尼–好,尼–好“,争相来试自己的中文是否能被这个外教听懂。一天时间,全校师生俨然像和这个个子大大的小外教是多年的老朋友一样,无话不谈。

女同学们更是喜欢这个帅哥外教,大家围着他用英文、中文、尼泊尔文混杂的语言问这位老师各式各样的问题,有些同学用尼泊尔文问出来的问题让这个不懂尼泊尔文的外教摸不着头脑,无论如何挠头都回答不上来,着急的他把头发都快挠成爱因斯坦的“鸡窝”发型,都不知咋回答,把同学们笑得前仰后合。

男同学们把他当成迈克尔乔丹一样,用熟练的英文和他讨论世界篮球明星,足球巨星,讨论雄心勃勃的中国男子足球给他们留下的深刻印象,俨然把他当成了自己最喜欢和伙伴,一点也看不出来他们刚刚认识了仅仅只有一天。

在课堂上,这个中文水平高得让他们瞠目结舌的外教老师不仅给同学们带来了生动有趣的中文课程,同时也给他们带来了全校有史以来最地道的中文学习环境,无论是课上还是课下,每一个学生都争先恐后地和他”浸泡”在中文学习环境中,同学们学习外语的兴趣空前高涨,那可真不是一般的高涨。

学校教学主任Mr. Toya Bhatta俨然没有想到这个小外教的到来,居然会在学校掀起如此之大的学习外语的巨浪,他表示,将和当地教育管理部门沟通,把这个小外教像马斯克的星链一样,和其它加德满都的学校“共享“,让更多的尼泊尔孩子受益。

On the second day since Runan arrived in Nepal, after spending a whole day here yesterday, everyone at the school, both teachers and students, knew this guy, strong-built Chinese foreign teacher. No matter which corner of the campus he walked to, the teachers and students greeted him with joy and happy, as if they had encountered a celebrity. They eagerly tried out their typical and somewhat clumsy Chinese greetings like “Nǐ–hǎo, Nǐ–hǎo,” competing to see if their Chinese could be understood by this real Chinese foreign teacher. In just one day, the entire school community seemed to treat this tall and friendly foreign teacher as an old friend, sharing everything with him.

The female students were particularly fond of this handsome foreign teacher. They surrounded him, bombarding him with questions in a mix of English, Chinese, and Nepali, about various topics. Some students asked questions in Nepali that left the foreign teacher completely puzzled, scratching his head in despair. Despite trying hard, he couldn’t come up with answers to those questions and ended up playfully messing up his hair, resembling Einstein’s “bird’s nest” hairstyle. The students found this hilarious and couldn’t stop laughing.

The male students treated him like Michael Jordan, engaging in discussions about world basketball stars, football giants, and the impressive impression left by ambitious Chinese men’s football. They considered him their favorite and close companion, not showing any signs that they had only known him for a day.

In the classroom, this foreign teacher with an impressively high level of Chinese proficiency not only brought lively and interesting Chinese lessons to the students but also created the most authentic Chinese learning environment the school had ever seen. Whether in class or outside, every student eagerly immersed themselves in this Chinese learning environment, and their interest in learning foreign languages soared, reaching unprecedented heights.

The school’s academic director, Mr. Toya Bhatta, never expected that the arrival of this boy would ignite such a significant wave of foreign language learning at the school. He expressed his intention to communicate with the local education authorities and share this foreign teacher with other schools in Kathmandu, just like Musk’s Starlink, so that more Nepalese children could benefit.

रुननले नेपाल आएको दोस्रो दिनमा, हिजो एक दिन यहाँ पूरा गरेको पछि, विद्यालयको सबै शिक्षक र विद्यार्थीहरूले यो शक्तिशाली चीनी विदेशी शिक्षकलाई चेतन गरेका थिए। यस्तै भए पनि, जहाँसुकै पनि वटा गएमा, शिक्षक र विद्यार्थीहरूले उनलाई उत्साह र हर्षको साथ साग्रीत गरेका थिए, जस्तै कोई चलचित्री संगको भेट हुँदा। उनीहरूले उनका टिपिकल र केही भाद्रकारी चिनियाँ स्वागतमा “नǐ–hǎo, नǐ–hǎo” जस्तै भेट गर्दा उनीहरूको चिनियाँ भाषा सुन्दा त्यसो नहोस् की नसुन्न साँचो चिनियाँ विदेशी शिक्षकको सामना गरेका थिए। एक मात्र दिनको भेटमा, समुदायका लागि सबैले यस उच्च र दयालु विदेशी शिक्षकलाई जस्तै पुरानो साथीको रूपमा देखाउँछन्, उनसँग सबै कुरा बाट धेरै हेरफेर गरेका थिए।

पुरुष विद्यार्थीहरूले यो हाँसोंअन्दाजयुक्त विदेशी शिक्षकलाई माइकल जर्डनको जस्तै देखेका थिए। उनीहरू विश्व बास्केटबल ताराहरू, फुटबल दिग्गजहरूको बारेमा चर्चा गर्दै, उभिन्न विषयमा चर्चा गर्दै आए। अम्बिसियस चीनी पुरुष फुटबलले छोडेको गहिरो प्रभाव बारेमा चर्चा गर्दै, उनीहरूले उनलाई आफूको फेब्रेट र सानो भाइको रूपमा लिएका थिए, एक दिन सम्मका भेटको भेटमा तिनीहरूको परिचयको कुरा देखिन सकिएन।

विद्याशालामा, यो चिनियाँ भाषामा शक्तिशाली विदेशी शिक्षकले मात्र विद्यार्थीहरूलाई जीवनपूर्वक रोचक चिनियाँ पाठहरू ल्याएर नै छोडेका थिए, तर यसले स्कूलले कहिल्यै भनेको नै नदेखिएको अध्ययन वातावरण पनि बनाएको थियो। पाठका भीतर वा बाहिर, प्रत्येक विद्यार्थी उत्सुकतासँग चिनियाँ भाषा अध्ययनमा आफूलाई लिन्छन्, र उनीहरूको विदेशी भाषा सिक्ने चासो अभूतपूर्व उच्चतामा पुगेको छ।
