On the afternoon of March 29, 2022, ICF International Culture Federation held an Art Salon lecture in Improve Canada’s   Gallery M2. The theme of the lecture was: World Heritage Sites in Ukraine. This is the first of a series of lectures on Ukrainian culture and art organized by the ICF International Culture Federation. It was hosted by Mr. Timur and presented by Ms. Foresthill Rose.

The lecture gave a detailed account of seven UNESCO World Heritage sites in Ukraine, including six cultural heritages and one natural heritage. The seven World Heritage Sites are Kyiv: Saint-Sophia Cathedral and Related Monastic Buildings, Kyiv Pechersk Lavra; Lviv- the  Ensemble of Historic Centre; Struve Geodetic Arc; Residence of Bukovinian and Dalmatian Metropolitans; the Ancient City of Tauric Chersonese and its Chora; Wooden Tserkvas of the Carpathian Region in Poland and Ukraine; Ancient and Primeval Beech Forests of the Carpathians and Other Regions of Europe, etc.

The participants had a warm Panel Talk, in which they had in-depth discussions and exchanges on the blood, language, history, culture, and religion of Ukraine. Especially: after the establishment of the first East Slavic “Kievan Rus” and the Christianization of Kieran Rus, a comprehensive study of Byzantine architecture, music, clothing, and culture, shaped, consolidated. and developed the East Slavic culture.
