The “2026 International Youth AIGC Music Creation Competition” is open to young creators globally. Centered on AIGC music creation, we believe that in the AI era, precise expression is the ultimate competitive edge! We encourage the younger generation to express genuine emotions through words and connect different cultures through music, allowing the world to hear your voice.

The competition plans to invite top global experts in literature, language education, music creation, AIGC technology, and media to form the International Jury Committee:

  • Qi Zhequan (Colin Qi): President of the Music and Arts Association of Singapore; President of the Singapore Chapter of the Global Chinese Pop Music Association.

  • Yi Ruofen (Lofen I): Professor at the School of Humanities, Nanyang Technological University; World’s first pioneer in AIGC Text-Image Studies.

【Tracks】

Open to youth aged 7-25 (Primary, Middle, High School, and University groups). Creation in Chinese or English is accepted.

Track 1: Original Lyrics + AIGC Visuals (Foundation Track)

  • Core Concept: Empowering words with visuals, letting creativity leap onto the page.
  • Target Audience: Students with initial exposure to AIGC creation.
  • Submission Requirements:
    • Original Lyrics: Plain text, minimum 8 lines, must include a creative statement.
    • AIGC Visuals: 1-3 AI-generated posters/illustrations matching the lyrics’ mood (JPG/PNG).
    • Submissions: Lyrics text + High-res images + Creative Statement (PDF+WORD) + AI Prompt records.

Track 2: Original Lyrics + AIGC Video (Advanced Track)

  • Core Concept: Master both audio and visual, create your own AI Music MV.
  • Target Audience: Students with certain video editing and AI generation skills.
  • Submission Requirements:
    • Original Lyrics: Plain text, minimum 8 lines, must include a creative statement.
    • AIGC Audio: Complete AI-generated song or soundtrack.
    • AIGC Video (MV): AI-generated dynamic video edited with the lyrics’ mood. Duration: 1.5 minutes or more, MP4 format.
    • Submissions: Lyrics text + Video work + Creative Statement (PDF+WORD) + Core AI Prompt records.

【Judging Criteria】

  1. Theme Expression & Concept: Clarity, positivity, depth, and independent thinking.
  2. Literary Expression & Language Art: Rhetoric, imagery, rhyme, vocabulary richness, and emotional appeal.
  3. Originality & Personal Voice: Unique perspective, avoidance of clichés.
  4. Emotional Appeal: Genuine and relatable emotions that resonate with the audience.
  5. Lyric Structure & Composability: Clear verse/chorus/bridge structure and rhythmic potential for composition.
  6. International Communication Potential: Cross-cultural universality; understandable and empathetic to non-native speakers.
  7. AIGC Transformation Creativity: Appropriate AI tool selection and prompt design that successfully translates the lyrics’ mood.
  8. Audiovisual Presentation & Mood Match: The fit between visuals/audio and the lyrics’ mood, and overall aesthetic coherence.
