Product Characteristics
Camellia oil is extracted from the seeds of wild woody plants in the Camellia genus. It is one of the world’s four major woody edible vegetable oils. Chinese camellia oil has both nutritional and medicinal functions superior to olive oil. While the fatty acid composition and nutritional profile of the two oils are similar, camellia oil contains unique bioactive compounds absent in olive oil — namely tea polyphenols and saponins (also known as camellia glycosides).

Xin County Camellia Oil offers premium quality straight from the raw press, meeting the modern pursuit of natural living and enhanced quality of life. It boasts excellent stability, a long shelf life, a high smoke point, and outstanding resistance to oxidation, while being easily digested and absorbed. Camellia oleifera, along with oil palm, olive, and coconut, is ranked among the four major woody oil-bearing plants in the world and is an indigenous species unique to China.
