Father`s day is a celebration honoring the influence of fathers in society. We all know father is the best example of a superhero. A father works tirelessly day and night for his family so that he can educate his children well and support his family. To give respect to this hard work , we celebrate father`s day every year.
Father`s day is celebrated on different days in different countries. This day is celebrated on the third Sunday of
June in the United States, United kingdom, India, Canada & a number of other countries around the world.
On Father`s Day, people give greeting card & gifts to their fathers. It is an annual event but is held at different dates in the calendar, depending on the country. Some people buy some flowers for their fathers.
Dining in restaurants or going out for picnic or movie is another common way of celebrating father`s day in India.
So, on Father`s Day , we celebrate fatherhood and appreciate all the love & support they gave us immensely thought- out our lives. Loving and honoring our father on just one day by may be posting about them in social media or giving them gifts is not enough. We must appreciate their role in our lives everyday throughout the year.
